4. Status
- Meaning: Modem’s connection with the service provider
- Ideal Light Color: Solid Blue

- Flashing: The Hitron gateway is trying to establish a connection with the CMTS of the service provider.
- Solid Blue: Modem has successfully established a connection with the CMTS of the service provider. This means it is now ready for data transfer.
5. LAN
- Meaning: Shows the LAN connection status of the device
- Ideal Light Color: Flashing/Solid Green
Different states of LAN light & their meanings:
- Flashing Green: The device has established a connection using the LAN port and they are transmitting data (either sending or receiving data).
- Solid Green: The gateway has a successful connection with the device using the LAN port but there is no data transmission going on at the moment.
- Light Off: There is no device connected to the modem through the LAN port or the modem cannot detect it.
Steps to Fix if it’s in trouble:
- See if there is any loose cable connection at both ends.
- Try to unplug and re-plug the ethernet cable on both devices.
- See if there is any kind of damage on the cable or the port.
- Try using another ethernet cable to see if the LAN port LED turns on.
6. WiFi (2.4G & 5G)
- Meaning: Shows the WiFi status of the device
- Ideal Light Color: Flashing/Solid Green
Different states of 2.4 & 5G lights & their meanings:
- Flashing Green: The device is receiving or sending data to a connected device on the 2.4G or 5G band.
- Solid Green: The modem is connected to a device on the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz frequency, but there is no transmission of data happening currently.
- Light Off: The respective band is not active or in use. You can go to the settings of your router and enable the wireless network manually.
7. USB
- Meaning: Shows if any USB device is connected
- Ideal Light Color: Flashing/Solid Green

- Flashing Green: The USB device is connected and is transferring data.
- Solid Green: The USB device is successfully connected to Hitron, but there is no data transfer at the moment.
- Light Off: It indicates that there is no device connected to the modem/router through the USB port or the combo cannot detect the device.

- Restart the WiFi device and see if the USB light is now turned on.
- Try to use the USB device in some other USB port.
- Check if the USB port works fine by plugging in another USB device.
