Looking for a way to improve your gaming experience? Having a comfy gaming chair may seem irrelevant, but it’s actually much more important than you think. Not only that it improves your comfort and gaming experience but it’s also very important for your posture and, ultimately, for your health. In our article about 9 best gaming chairs with speakers in 2024, we will discuss the most important reasons to buy a gaming chair with speakers and give you some nice suggestions. In the end, we will give you a few short answers to the most common questions people ask about gaming chairs in general and especially about gaming chairs with speakers.

Why Do You Need a Gaming Chair?

If you love gaming and don’t have a chair already, you should definitely buy it. There are a few very important reasons for that.

The first and most obvious is improved comfort. Have you ever spent all night gaming while sitting on a regular chair, without armrests and without any support for your back and neck? I did and it’s awful. When I was a teenager, it was not a huge problem. I mean, I had a stiff neck and felt pain in my back, but it was bearable. Naturally, it became harder with years and, today, I don’t even want to consider anything else but having a super-comfy gaming chair when using a PC. Even while writing this text, I’m sitting in my Noblechair Epic Black.

A nice gaming chair won’t completely eliminate the pain caused by long gaming sessions, but it will provide better support for your back, reduce the pain, and it will allow you to concentrate better on the game itself. So, it’s not only about the comfort. A comfy chair will also have a positive effect on your performance. Back in the days when I used to sit in a regular chair, I used to wiggle all the time, desperately trying to find the right position (sitting on one cheek only, putting the right leg under me and sitting on it, etc.). But it was impossible. I was constantly trying to find a pain-free position and I lost many games because of it. None of that will happen if you have a nice gaming chair.

The most important reason for having a gaming chair is maybe not that obvious, but it’s actually the most important. On a long-term basis, having a comfortable gaming chair with good lumbar support has numerous positive effects on your posture and your health.

One thing you must have in mind is that no chair in the world can replace physical activity. So, occasional stretching out and workouts are absolutely necessary, especially if you spend hours and hours sitting in a chair.

What’s so Special About Gaming Chairs with Speakers?

Only one thing. They have built-in speakers. In all the other ways, they are fairly similar to regular gaming chairs but there are speakers, somewhere around your head. Why is that important? Well, because you don’t have to use your headset anymore (unless you have to use the microphone).

Having a gaming chair with speakers allows you to get a similar experience as you would get with a headset, but without any ear fatigue or pain. Your ears will be completely free and that will also improve the overall amount of comfort you get.

Buyer’s Guide – Things to Look for When Buying a Gaming Chair with Speakers?

As always, the first thing we all think about is the price. You can find a decent chair for less than $100 but, if you really want a good one, you should spend $150-$250. Some gaming chairs with speakers are priced over $300 (or even $500), but these are usually massage chairs or chairs with all kinds of additional features. We’re not saying these chairs are bad – they are actually great but you don’t have to spend that much if you just need a comfy and durable gaming chair. Once you determine your budget, you can consider other factors.

Size and adjustability are quite important. Not all gaming chairs fit all people. Some chairs have weight limitations, others are not large enough for tall people, so you should always pay attention to this stuff.

Furthermore, we all want something comfy. Quite often, you can determine whether the chair is comfy or not just by looking at it but it’s always better to try it if you have the chance.

Since we’re talking about gaming chairs with speakers, it would be stupid not to check the speakers. You should be aware that you can’t expect high-end speakers and audiophile-grade performance. The primary purpose of a gaming chair is to be comfy and provide good lumbar support. Speakers are just a bonus. They usually offer decent performance and are quite loud (mostly because they are right next to your ears). In some cases, there’s only one speaker, placed right over your head. Some gaming chairs have two side-firing or front-firing speakers, while some also have built-in subwoofers (2.1 or 4.1 speaker systems). So, if you have some preferences regarding the placement of speakers, you should consider all these things. If you want the best possible sonic performance, you should go for a gaming chair with 2 or 4 speakers and a subwoofer

Depending on how much you’re prepared to pay, you can even get a chair with a built-in vibration system or a massage chair with speakers. Massage gaming chairs are usually quite expensive ($500+).

Now that you know a few basic things about gaming chairs, let’s move onto our selection of 9 best gaming chairs with speakers in 2024. We did our best to cover all the price ranges so you should be able to find something that suits your needs and fits your budget.

9 Best Gaming Chairs with Speakers in 2024

1. Best Racing-Style Gaming Chair with Speakers – GTRACING GT890M

GTRACING GT890M

Check Price on Amazon

If you are looking for a relatively affordable racing-style gaming chair, GTRACING is one of the viable options. It looks like a regular gaming chair but there are two Bluetooth speakers on the back left and back right.

What’s in the box?

Along with the chair, you will get a USB charging cable (for the Bluetooth speakers), a USB Bluetooth adapter, user manual, and a 1-year warranty.

The chair is available in 5 color combinations – black with red details, black with blue details, black with silver details, pink with white details, and black with white details.

Things we like

At first glance, GTRACING GT890M looks like any other racing-style gaming chair. It has a solid metal frame and a base with wheels made of hard plastic. Overall, it looks sturdy and durable. The weight limit is 350lbs.

The seat and the back are padded with high-density foam and have PU leather upholstery. The armrests are made of solid plastic and are adjustable to fit people of different height. The chair comes with two removable cushions – one for the lumbar support and the other for your neck. The base has an SGS-certified gas lift cylinder, which allows you to adjust the height of the seat.

Like most gaming chairs, GTRACING GT890M supports the rocking feature so you can tilt it as much as you want. It also supports reclining (90°-165°) and 360° swivel.

The biggest difference between GT890M and other gaming chairs is in the speakers built into the back of the chair. The speakers are wireless/Bluetooth (no info about the Bluetooth version). They can provide up to 6h of playtime and you have to charge them after. The chair comes with a USB Bluetooth stick that you can plug into any audio source and send the audio wirelessly

The idea of having speakers built inside the chair is a nice one, but don’t expect to be blown away. The speakers are tiny (3W x2) and there’s no subwoofer. They are definitely better than the speakers on your phone or laptop but they can hardly compete with any $50 2.0 speaker system. However, the experience is interesting, different, and kind of fun. The chair is definitely worth the money, but there’s a lot of room for improvement.

Things we don’t like

The chair doesn’t have a footrest.

The base is made of plastic. It does feel solid and durable but it’s still plastic.

The armrests are probably the weakest link when it comes to construction. You can tighten them up but they will start to wiggle in a few days.

The speakers provide 6h of playtime which is not bad but it’s far from great. You will eventually have to switch from using the chair to using the headset. The speakers can’t be used while charging.

2. Best 2.1 Gaming Chair with Speakers – X Rocker 51396

X Rocker 51396

Check Price on Amazon

Fair warning – you will see a lot of X Rocker chairs on this list. X Rocker is probably the biggest name when it comes to gaming chairs with speakers and most of this market segment is reserved for their chairs. X Rocker 51396 Pro Series is a great gaming chair with a 2.1 speaker system. It supports both wired and wireless connectivity.

What’s in the box?

Along with the 51396 Pro Series gaming chair, you will get a DC power adapter, pedestal, a set of audio cables for connecting the chair to the audio source (RCA to RCA, RCA to 3.5mm, 3.5mm to 3.5mm, etc.), wireless transmitter, user manual, assembly instructions, and 1-year warranty.

Things we like

51396 Pro Series gaming chair is a little bit chunkier than a regular gaming chair. It has a solid frame, foam padding, and faux leather upholstery. The chair is foldable which makes it easy to store and move around. The included armrests are made of solid plastic and you are supposed to screw them onto the chair.  The max supported weight is 250lbs.

The chair is designed ergonomically to provide the best possible neck and lumbar support. The comfort is satisfying but it’s not exactly on par with top-of-the-line gaming chairs. You can’t adjust the height of the seat, which is not a problem if you’re 6ft tall but if you are 6ft 4in or taller it can be problematic. The chair can tilt and swivel but doesn’t recline.

On the right side of the seat, below the armrest, you have a simple control panel with all the knobs, inputs, and outputs. The control panel houses RCA inputs, RCA outputs, MP3 IN (for connecting PS4 controller), and a headphone output. When it comes to controls, you have a large volume wheel in the middle. On/Off switch and bass knob are on the left end of the control panel. The wireless connection switch is on the right end. This switch has 3 positions (for three different frequencies).

Thanks to the included transmitter, you can also send the audio from the source (console or TV) wirelessly to the chair. The transmitter has only 3.5mm input, so you will need a device with analog audio outputs (3.5mm or RCA). In case your source has only digital outputs, you will have to buy some additional equipment (DAC device).

The chair is compatible with all kinds of TVs, PS consoles, Xbox, PCs, etc.

It features two side-firing speakers, located very close to your head. It also has a back-firing ported 4in subwoofer. The subwoofer has two functions – It improves the sound quality and it’s synced with the vibration motor that makes gaming even more immersive. If you don’t like the vibrations, you can reduce the vibrations or turn them off by using the bass knob.

Compared to chairs with only 2 speakers and without the subwoofer, X Rocker 51396 Pro Series chair sounds much better but it can hardly be compared with a real 2.1 speaker system.

Things we don’t like

The chair doesn’t support height adjustments. Not all the users will be happy with the amount of comfort this chair provides – it’s not a great choice for tall people. Also, the chair doesn’t recline.

The product description says this is a Bluetooth chair, but IT’S NOT. It has a built-in RF receiver and it comes with an RF transmitter.

3. Best 4.1 Gaming Chair with Speakers – X Rocker Pro Series H3

X Rocker Pro Series H3

Check Price on Amazon

Pro Series H3 is one of the most popular gaming chairs with speakers from the X Rocker line. It’s fairly similar to the previously reviewed 51396 Pro, but with the upgraded speakers and without a pedestal. This one is not made for PC gaming but it’s a great choice if your TV is positioned relatively low (closer to the ground).

What’s in the box?

Along with the gaming chair, you will get a DC adapter, all kinds of audio cables and adapters (RCA to RCA, RCA to AUX, AUX to AUX), wireless (RF) transmitter, user manual, assembly instructions, and 1-year warranty.

Things we like

Like the previous X Rocker gaming chair, H3 is ergonomically designed, with soft foam paddings and faux leather finish. The frame is a combination of plastic, wood, and metal. The chair is foldable, which makes the storage much easier. It supports the rocking feature (it can tilt) but doesn’t recline and it doesn’t swivel. The armrests are made of plastic and aren’t adjustable. The max allowed weight is 240lbs.

The chair is compatible with all kinds of audio sources including TVs, PS, Xbox, Nintendo Wii, etc.

On the right end of the chair, below the armrests, there’s the control panel with all the inputs, outputs, and controls. In the middle, you have a large volume dial. On the right end of the control panel, there’re RCA inputs, RCA outputs (for connecting multiple chairs together), MP3 input (for connecting PS controller), headphone output, and a 3-position switch for wireless connection. On the left end of the control panel, there’s the on/off button, bass dial, vibration dial, and a DC input.

H3 gaming chair features a 4.1 speaker system. There are four side-firing speakers – two speakers are located close to your head and two are in the seating area, right next to the control panel. On the back, you have one 4in ported subwoofer.

The chair also has a vibration motor that’s synched with the subwoofer and it can make your gaming much more fun.

Things we don’t like

The chair doesn’t have a pedestal and it’s not a great choice for tall people. Also, it doesn’t recline and it can’t swivel.

The chair can’t be directly connected to the source that relies exclusively on digital connections (Xbox One and PS4). If that’s your case, you’re going to need some kind of DAC or some HDMI audio extractor.

4. Best X Rocker SE 2.1

X Rocker SE 2.1

Check Price on Amazon

If you’re looking for something under $150, X Rocker SE 2.1 might be the right choice. It’s similar to the previous two X Rocker chairs (especially to the 51396 Pro), but with one important difference – the speakers are built into the backrest are front-firing (not side-firing) and are closer to your head.

What’s in the box?

Inside the box, you will find your chair, steel pedestal (you’re supposed to assemble it on your own), assembly equipment, DC adapter, audio cables and adapters (RCA to RCA, RCA to AUX, AUX to AUX, etc.), wireless transmitter (you’re supposed to connect it to your audio source), user manual, assembly manual, and 1-year warranty.

Things we like

SE 2.1 gaming chair features the same basic shape as the previous two but doesn’t have that much padding and it looks a little bit smaller (although the seating area is actually slightly larger). The chair can be folded up for easy storage. The frame is made of solid plastic and aluminum and feels quite sturdy. PU leather was used for the finish. The chair has a large steel pedestal and plastic armrests. It can swivel and tilt (but doesn’t recline).

On the right end of the seat, below the armrest, there’s the control panel with volume controls (large volume dial in the middle), bass controls, ON/OFF button, DC input, RCA inputs, RCA outputs (for connecting two or multiple chairs together), MP3 input (for connecting PS controller), headphone output, and wireless connection switch.

SE 2.1 chair is compatible with all audio sources and gaming consoles with analog audio outputs. If the audio sources have only digital outputs, you will need an HDMI audio extractor or some DAC.

The chair houses 2 speakers, built into the backrest. The speakers are front-firing and are very close to your head. It’s almost like having headphones. On the rear end, right at the bottom, there’s a 4in ported subwoofer. The chair provides pretty decent sonic performance. Since the speakers are very close to your head, they can get quite loud.

Things we don’t like

The chair doesn’t recline and the height is not adjustable which is an important downside if you’re tall.

You can’t connect the chair directly to the source that relies exclusively on digital connections (Xbox One and PS4).

Unlike some pricier X Rocker chairs, this one doesn’t vibrate.

5. Best Massage/Gaming Chair with Speakers – Giantex Leisure

Giantex Leisure

Check Price on Amazon

Giantex is, primarily, a very nice-looking massage chair, but it can be used for gaming if you place it in front of your TV. It’s much more expensive than the X Rocker and other gaming chairs with speakers, but it’s pricier for a reason.

What’s in the box?

Inside the box, you will find the Giantex massage/gaming chair with a wired remote, DC adapter, user manual, and a warranty card.

Things we like

The chair is shaped like a cocoon and, even at first glance, it looks very comfy. It has strategically positioned massage cushions for your neck, back, waist, and even buttocks. The chair is solidly built and feels quite durable.

More importantly, it’s incredibly comfortable, even without the massage. You can select a specific part you want to massage and you can select the mode. The chair has rollers for the upper back and neck. There’s also the heating function and you can adjust the intensity of the massage.

On the right side of the chair, within the reach of your arm, there’s the control panel with the bass knob, volume knob, on/off switch, and AUX input. The on/off switch also allows you to choose between Bluetooth mode and wired mode. It’s definitely smarter to use the wired mode for gaming. Bluetooth mode is better for streaming music from your phone.

Giantex chair has two side-firing speakers located close to your head. The speakers are relatively small but, since they are close to your ears, they will be loud enough.

Things we don’t like

Unlike many gaming chairs, Giantex chair doesn’t recline, doesn’t swivel, and doesn’t tilt.

Since the chair has only AUX input, you can’t connect it directly to audio sources without analog outputs. So, if you want to connect a source with digital outputs, you will need a DAC device or some HDMI audio extractor.

There’s a very noticeable audio lag when streaming audio from your TV or some other audio/video source. That’s why you shouldn’t use Bluetooth for gaming.

6. X Rocker Pedestal Extreme III

X Rocker Pedestal Extreme III

Check Price on Amazon

X Rocker Pedestal Extreme III is fairly similar to the previous X Rocker gaming chairs. It features a 2.1 speaker system and has pretty much the same set of features as the previous SE 2.1 chair. Pedestal Extreme III has differently positioned speakers and it has some padding on the armrests.

What’s in the box?

Inside the box, there’s your Extreme III gaming chair, pedestal (you’re supposed to attach it on your own), wireless transmitter, DC adapter, audio cables and adapters (RCA to RCA, RCA to 3.5mm, 3.5mm to 3.5mm, etc.), user manual, assembly instructions, and 1-year warranty.

Things we like

Extreme III chair has the same basic shape as all the previous X Rocker chairs with nice support for your back and neck. The chair comes with a pedestal so it can be used for PC gaming, too. The frame is made of hard plastic and aluminum, while the faux leather is used for the finish. The chair provides very good comfort and it’s perfect for long gaming sessions. It can tilt and swivel (but it doesn’t recline). It’s also foldable, which is a plus if you need to store it.

On the right side, within your arm’s reach, there’s the control panel with all the knobs and inputs. In the middle, there’s the master volume dial. On the left side, you have a DC input, bass dial, and on/off button. On the right side, there’s a series of inputs/outputs – RCA inputs, RCA outputs (for connecting additional X Rocker chairs), 3.5mm input (for connecting PS controller), and a headphone output. There’s also the switch for activating the wireless receiver. The switch has three positions (three different frequencies) and you have to match the switch position on the transmitter to the switch position on the chair.

The chair is fully compatible with all devices with analog outputs (RCA and 3.5mm). If your audio source (TV, gaming console) doesn’t have analog outs, you will need some additional equipment (HDMI audio extractor or DAC device).

Like the previously reviewed SE 2.1 chair, Extreme III gaming chair has two front-firing speakers, located right next to the headrest. On the back of the chair, there’s one 4in ported subwoofer. The chair offers quite an immersive experience and the speakers can get pretty loud since they are located so close to your head.

Things we don’t like

The chair doesn’t recline and the height of the pedestal is not adjustable. If you’re tall, it’s probably smarter to go for some other model.

The chair can’t be directly connected to the audio source that has only digital outputs (additional equipment needed).

7. Best Bluetooth-Enabled Gaming Chair with Speakers Under $100 – X Rocker Surge

X Rocker Surge

Check Price on Amazon

If your limit is set at $100, X Rocker Surge is worth checking out. It’s a gaming chair without a pedestal so it’s good for sitting in front of the TV but not for PC gaming. The most important difference between this and all the previous X Rocker models is that this one features Bluetooth connectivity, while the previous chairs used radio frequency for wireless connection. What’s the difference? Well, the Bluetooth connection is not really good for gaming because of a noticeable audio delay (unless it’s Bluetooth with aptX LL support). So, you can’t connect this one wirelessly to your TV or your gaming console – Bluetooth connection is designed for music streaming only.

What’s in the box?

Inside the box, you’ll find your Surge gaming chair, DC adapter, all the necessary audio cables and adapters (RCA to RCA, RCA to 3.5mm, 3.5mm to 3.5mm, etc.), user manual, and 1-year warranty. Unlike all the previous X Rocker chairs, this one doesn’t come with an RF transmitter.

Things we like

Surge chair is shaped similarly to the previous X Rocker chairs. There’re some modifications when it comes to the design of the headrest and speaker positioning (they are now above your head), but the chair is still easily recognizable. Another difference, compared to the previous chairs, is that the Surge chair doesn’t have armrests. The max allowed weight is 250lbs. The chair can tilt and it’s foldable.

On the right side, right under the seating area, there’s the control panel. In the middle of the panel, you will see a large volume dial. On the left side of the control panel, you have the bass dial, DC input, and a power button. On the right end of the panel, you will find RCA inputs, RCA outputs, 3.5mm input, 3.5mm headphone output, input selector (LINE IN/Bluetooth), and a USB charging port.

The chair features a 2.1 speaker system. The speakers are installed into the headrest, right above your head. On the back of the chair, there’s a ported 4in subwoofer. The speakers are located very close to your head and, even though they are relatively small, they will provide more than enough loudness and clarity.

As mentioned in the introduction Surge chair features Bluetooth connectivity. Bluetooth connection is good for music streaming but it’s not good for gaming (sync issues).

Things we don’t like

The Surge gaming chair doesn’t have a pedestal and it’s not a great choice for tall people. The chair can’t swivel or recline.

The chair has only analog inputs. Audio sources and gaming consoles that rely on digital outputs cannot be connected directly to the chair. If that’s your case, you will need some HDMI audio extractor or DAC.

Bluetooth connection doesn’t feature aptX LL support so it’s not good for gaming.

8. Best Budget Gaming Chair with Speakers – X Rocker V

X Rocker V

Check Price on Amazon

Looking for something even cheaper than the previous Surge chair. X Rocker V is the most basic and, probably, the cheapest gaming chair with speakers on the market.

What’s in the box?

X Rocker V chair comes with a DC adapter, RF transmitter, a set of audio cables and adapters (RCA, 3.5 to 3.5, RCA to 3.5mm, etc.), user manual, and a warranty card.

Things we like

In terms of design, X Rocker V is not much different from the previous model. It has a nice and sturdy frame, it’s foldable, it’s thickly padded, it provides nice lumbar support and has a very soft headrest. Manufacturer used mesh and PU leather for the upholstery. The max allowed weight is 250lbs.

On the right side, like all the previous chairs, X Rocker V has the control panel. Compared to the previous versions, the control panel looks a little bit different but it has all the same buttons. From left to right, you’ll see the power button, DC input, headphone output, AUX input (for connecting analog audio sources), 3.5mm AUX output (for connecting two chairs together), volume dial, and bass dial.

The chair features 2.1 speaker systems. Two front-firing speakers are located right next to your head and the subwoofer is on the back. The speakers are maybe small but are quite loud and, since they are located right next to your ears, you don’t even have to crank them up.

The chair has a built-in RF receiver and, when connected to the included RF transmitter, it can receive audio without any noticeable delay. The only problem is that neither the chair nor the transmitter has digital inputs (only analog).

Things we don’t like

The chair has no pedestal and it’s not a great choice for tall people. It also has no armrests. It can’t swivel and it doesn’t recline.

Both chair and the included transmitter have only analog inputs. If you want to connect some digital audio source, you will need some kind of DAC.

9. Nokaxus Gaming Chair with Bluetooth Speakers

Nokaxus Gaming Chair with Bluetooth Speakers

Check Price on Amazon

Nokaxus gaming chair looks a lot like the previously reviewed GTRACING GT890M chair, but with a few upgrades and with a slightly heftier price tag. Compared to the GTRACING chair, this one has a footrest, it has a larger seat and much thicker padding on the seat. The lumbar support pillow also has a massage function (and when we say massage, we mean just some gentle vibration). Due to its improved construction, the Nokaxus chair is a good choice for heavier people (360lbs weight limit).

What’s in the box?

Inside the box, you will find your Nokaxus chair, USB charging cable for the built-in speakers, user manual, assembly instructions, and a warranty card. The chair comes in pieces and you’re supposed to assemble it on your own, which should take 20-60mins.

Things we like

Just like GTRACING gaming chair, Nokaxus is a racing-type chair. The frame is made of steel, while the base is made of hard plastic. It’s solid and feels fairly durable. As mentioned, the weight limit is 360lbs.

Both the seat and the back are very thickly padded. For the padding, the manufacturer used high-density foam. PU leather was used for the finish. The armrests are adjustable. The whole chair is adjustable, actually. So, even if you are tall, you can easily adjust the height of the chair.

The chair also has two removable cushions – one for the lumbar support and the other for the neck support. Lumbar support cushion features massage function. It comes with an undetachable USB cable and you can plug into some powerbank to make it work (the cushion doesn’t have a built-in battery).

Just like many other gaming chairs, Nokaxus can be tilted (rocking feature). Also, it can swivel (360°) and it can recline (90°-170°). Another great feature is the retractable footrest.

Recommended Reading :

The speakers are built into the back of the chair. The speakers are Bluetooth-enabled (no info on the Bluetooth version) and are USB-operated. This means that there’s a USB cable that you can connect to your PC or to a powerbank and supply power to the speakers.

Unlike GTRACING chair, this one doesn’t come with a Bluetooth adapter that you can plug into any audio source. So, in this case, you can pair the speakers only with the sources that are already Bluetooth-enabled. The Bluetooth is good enough for casual music listening but it’s pretty bad for watching videos on your phone. Playing games on your TV or PC while streaming audio to those built-in speakers is not an option.

Things we don’t like

The armrests are made of hard and durable plastic but still don’t feel perfectly stable.

The speakers are not battery-operated which means that you have to live with the cables. You can hide them easily if you decide to use the powerbank port, but it would still be a little bit more convenient to have a built-in battery. I mean hiding a relatively large battery inside the chair should not be a problem. It would raise the price but it would also make the chair better.

This is the end of our list of 9 best gaming chairs with speakers!

FAQs

Q: Do gaming chairs have speakers?

A: Some gaming chairs have built-in speakers but not all of them. Those with built-in speakers are a little bit chunkier than regular gaming chairs but, in all the other ways, they are basically the same and offer the same level of comfort.

Q: What is the best gaming chair with speakers for gaming in 2024?

A: Well, the most reputable brand when it comes to gaming chairs with speakers is the X Rocker. X Rocker makes all kinds of chairs with a different number of built-in speakers. If you want the best possible performance and comfort, try X Rocker Deluxe 4.1 or X Rocker Pro Series H3 (4.1 system). If you need something more compact, you can try brands like GTRACING or Nokaxus.

Q: What chairs do pro gamers use?

A: As far as we know, pro gamers are not huge fans of gaming chairs with speakers – they usually prefer gaming headsets instead of chairs with speakers. Ninja, for example, uses Maxnomic Pro. Shroud prefers Aeron chair, PewDiePie’s chairs of choice are Clutch Chairs Throttle Series.

The most successful esports teams have partnerships with some chair manufacturers – Team Liquid uses Maxnomic Pro chairs (like Ninja), SK Telecom T1 and Cloud9 use Secretlab Titan and Omega, and SK Gaming uses Noblechairs HERO.

Q: What is the point of gaming chairs?

A: We have explained this in the introduction but here’s the short answer. Gaming chairs improve the comfort significantly and allow you to extend the duration of your gaming sessions. Furthermore, gaming chairs provide much better support for your back and neck than regular chairs. The long-term consequences of using an uncomfortable chair without proper lumbar support can be quite far-reaching and can affect not only your posture but also your overall health.

Q: How much does a good gaming chair cost?

A: You can find a decent gaming chair for less than $100, but if you want a good gaming chair you have to spend at least $150 (up to $250). The price of gaming chairs can go up to $500 (or even higher).

Q: Are gaming chairs good for office work?

A: Some gaming chairs are actually perfect for office work. You would have to exclude those without a base (those were made for sitting in front of a TV) and those that are too bulky (which excludes most gaming chairs with speakers), but there’s still plenty of gaming chairs that you can use for both – gaming and office work.

Q: Are X Rocker gaming chairs with speakers comfortable?

A: Yes, they definitely are. X Rocker chairs are like a mixture of bean bag chairs and office chairs. They are ergonomically designed to provide the best possible support for your back and neck. A great bonus you get when you buy an X Rocker chair is a set of built-in speakers.

Q: Are floor gaming chairs comfortable?

A: Most floor gaming chairs are basically the same thing as regular gaming chairs, only without the base. So, they offer the same kind of comfort and lumbar support as regular gaming chairs. These chairs don’t have stands/bases because they are designed for sitting in front of a TV (not for PC gaming).
